Since 1997, Carl Roscoe has worked on a wide spectrum of state and federal corporate tax issues and projects. He has significant experience in income/franchise/gross receipts, sales/use, property and payroll tax matters. Currently, he focuses primarily on merger and acquisition due diligence, mitigation/remediation of historical tax exposure, and on emerging company tax concerns. Carl joined GAGNONtax in 2001, where he also serves as general counsel.
Before joining GAGNONtax, he managed large-scale corporate restructuring engagements for clients of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Carl’s work spans across both pre-profit and Fortune 500 companies in the software, advertising/marketing, pharmaceutical, life science, biotechnology, banking, retail, manufacturing, defense and high-technology industries.
Carl graduated summa cum laude from Hartwick College with a BS in Psychology and received his juris doctor from The Albany Law School of Union University, New York. He is a member of the Tax Sections of the American Bar Association, and the Boston Bar Association. Carl is admitted to practice law in New York, Massachusetts and Federal Courts.
When the Internet is down, he enjoys playing jazz piano and woodworking.
